Black Forest Trifle

this super easy-to-make, delectable black forest trifle!

Buttermilk Cake, cut into 1-inch (2cm) pieces |

Kirsch or maraschino cherry juice |

cherries, drained, pitted |

| Directions |
Prepare chocolate pudding according to
package directions with the 2 cups of milk. Refrigerate until
needed. Spread one third of whipped cream into bottom of 10-12
cup (2.5 – 3L) glass serving bowl. Top with half the chocolate
cake pieces. Sprinkle with half the Kirsch. Top with half the
cherries. Spread with half the pudding. Repeat layers of
one-third whipped cream, remaining cake, Kirsch, cherries and
pudding. Top with remaining whipped cream. Cover. Refrigerate
4 hours or overnight. To serve, garnish with grated chocolate
and maraschino cherries, if desired.
