Buttery Maple Walnut Sauce

Yield
1¼ cups (300 mL)


Ingredients
1 cup maple syrup 250 mL
2 Tbsp butter 30 mL
¼ cup whipping cream 50 mL
¼ cup chopped toasted walnuts 50 mL
     
     


Directions
In medium saucepan, combine maple syrup and butter. Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool. Stir in whipping cream and nuts. Serve warm or cool.
