Classic Butterscotch Sauce

Yield
1½ cups (375 mL)


Ingredients
1/3 cup butter 75 mL
1 cup packed brown sugar 250 mL
2/3 cup whipping cream 150 mL
2 Tbsp corn syrup 30 mL
     
     
     
     
     
     


Directions
In medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in sugar, whipping cream and corn syrup. Bring mixture to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Serve warm or cool.
