Nutmeg Coffee Nog

Yield
4 cups (1 L)


Ingredients
1 cup milk 250 mL
1 cup light cream 250 mL
2 egg yolks 2
2 Tbsp granulated sugar 30 mL
2 cups double strength coffee 500 mL
  whipped cream  
dash nutmeg dash


Directions
Combine milk and cream in medium saucepan. Beat together egg yolks, sugar and nutmeg. Add to milk mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture coats a metal spoon. (Do not boil.) Whisk coffee into milk mixture. Serve very hot, topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg.
