Quick And Easy Vanilla Ice Cream

Yield
6½ cups (1.5 L)


Ingredients
1 can sweetened condensed milk 300 mL
3/4 cup milk * 175 mL
1 Tbsp vanilla 15 mL
2 cups whipping cream 500 mL


 
In large bowl, whisk together condensed milk, milk and vanilla until well blended. Set aside. In large chilled bowl, beat whipping cream at medium speed with electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into milk mixture until well combined. Spoon into 9-inch square glass baking dish. Freeze 3 hours or overnight. Let ice cream stand at room temperature 10 – 15 minutes before serving. Top with fresh fruit, toasted coconut or nuts, chocolate sauce or cookie crumbs, if desired.
