Storage & Handling: Prepared Milk Desserts

Soft custards, milk puddings, cake/pie cream & custard fillings

How to Store
  • refrigerate cold dishes immediately after preparation
  • cool cooked dishes quickly and refrigerate within 2 hours
  • store on refrigerator shelves; the door shelves are not cold enough
  • store in air-tight container until serving
  • keep sealed to protect from strong odors
  • return leftovers to the refrigerator promptly after use
  • if served in another container do not place unused portion back in the original container

 

Refrigerator (2-4°C)
  • will keep for 5-6 day

 

Freezer (-18°C or below)
  • do not freeze
